How billing works
£4.99 is charged when you join and then every month on the same date, through Stripe. There are no setup fees or hidden charges.
How cancelling works
Cancel from Settings › Membership & billing. You won't be charged again and you keep membership until the end of the month you've paid for.
After it ends
Every CV and cover letter stays in your account to view and download as PDF or Word. Resubscribe whenever you like to edit and use the AI tools again.
Questions
What happens to my CVs if I cancel?
They stay in your account. After your paid period ends you can still sign in, view, rename, delete and download every CV and cover letter you created, as PDF or Word. What stops is premium editing and the AI tools. Resubscribe at any time to switch them back on.
When does cancellation take effect?
At the end of the billing period you've already paid for. You won't be charged again, and you keep full membership until that date. Settings shows the exact date before and after you cancel.
Will the AI make things up?
It's designed not to. The assistant only works from the information you give it, never adds employers, qualifications, numbers or achievements, and asks you for missing facts instead. You review every suggestion before it changes your CV.
Are the CVs ATS-friendly?
Every export contains real, selectable text with standard section headings. Each template also has an ATS mode that switches to a conventional single-column layout and leaves out any photo. No tool can guarantee how a particular applicant tracking system will read a CV, so we won't promise that.
What does the free plan include?
One CV, one cover letter, 6 essential templates, PDF export and 5 AI writing actions each month. Membership adds unlimited documents, all templates, Word export, AI review, tailoring, cover letter generation and version history.
Is there a limit on AI use for members?
Membership includes up to 300 AI actions a month. That covers far more than typical job-search use, and the limit only exists to prevent abuse.
Do you use British English?
Yes. British spelling and UK CV conventions are the default: no date of birth, optional driving licence and right-to-work lines, and a photo only if you choose a photo template and add one.
How is my data used?
Your documents are private to your account. When you use an AI tool, only the relevant text is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the response. Anthropic's commercial terms say API data isn't used to train their models by default. We never sell your data. See the privacy policy for details.
